Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through therealtalkparenting.com from Real Talk Parenting ("we," "us," or "our").
1. All sales are final
Because our products are digital downloads delivered instantly upon payment, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns.
Once a purchase is completed, you receive immediate access to the full content of the product. The product cannot be "returned" in any meaningful sense, as the digital file cannot be un-delivered or verifiably destroyed.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All sales are final
- No refunds will be issued
- No exchanges will be processed
- No "return" of a digital product is possible
2. EU/UK consumer right of withdrawal — waiver
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland, you would normally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for online consumer purchases.
However, by purchasing a digital product that is delivered immediately upon payment, you expressly:
- Consent to the immediate performance and delivery of the digital content before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, and
- Acknowledge that, by giving this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK/EEA regulations.
This waiver is confirmed at checkout when you complete your purchase through Lemon Squeezy. Your purchase cannot be completed without acknowledging this waiver.
3. Exceptions — technical failures
While our policy is firm on "all sales final," we will consider a refund or replacement, at our sole discretion, in cases of genuine technical failure that we are able to verify, such as:
- The download link does not work and we cannot deliver an alternative
- The wrong product was delivered due to a system error on our side
- Duplicate charges caused by a payment processor error
To request consideration under this section, email [email protected] within 7 days of the purchase with:
- Your order number (from your Lemon Squeezy receipt)
- The email address used at checkout
- A clear description of the technical issue
- Any screenshots or evidence of the problem
We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. We reserve the right to provide a replacement file instead of a refund where appropriate.
4. Buyer's remorse is not grounds for refund
The following are not grounds for a refund:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Discovering the content does not match what you assumed
- Not having time to read or use the product
- Disagreement with the parenting frameworks or perspectives described
- Realizing the content does not apply to your specific child or situation
- Accidentally purchasing the wrong product (please review your cart before payment)
This is why we strongly encourage you to read the full product description, table of contents, and any free preview before purchase.
5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, we will:
- Provide all evidence of the legitimate transaction and delivery to your card issuer (including this Policy and our Terms of Service)
- Revoke any license to use the purchased product
- Block future purchases from your account or payment method
- Reserve the right to pursue any further legal remedy available
If you have a concern about a purchase, please email us first at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback. Many issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
6. Why this policy exists
Digital products require significant time and effort to create. Because:
- The product cannot be returned (you have the file)
- We cannot verify deletion of downloaded files
- We have no way to "restock" a digital product
- Refunds on digital downloads are commonly exploited
…we operate on a "no refunds" basis to keep the product affordable and sustainable for everyone.

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy at any time by modifying the "Last updated" date above. Purchases made before an update remain governed by the policy that was in effect at the time of purchase. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
